Liquor and Gambling Training

Training available include:

Responsible Service of Alcohol Course

This course gives a more detailed look at the legal responsibilities of a licensee and their staff when acting in the role of a responsible person, it covers issues such as responsible service of alcohol, minors and alcohol, intoxicated patrons and other aspects of responsible service of alcohol and related responsibilities

Liquor Licensing Laws Course

This course is designed to encourage a greater understanding of the Liquor Licensing Act, it educates people in what the role and legal obligations are of a licensee and their approved responsible person, and it clearly defines the role of the licensing authority.

Approved Crowd Controller

An approved crowd controller for licensed premises is a person who may be required to use force to remove patrons or prevent their entry. They will need to become an approved crowd controller , approved by the Office of the Liquor and Gambling Commissioner (OLGC) under the Liquor Licensing Act 1997.

Providing Responsible Gambling Services

This course has been developed to meet the needs of the South Australian gaming Machine Industry.

Attend Gaming Machine

This course gives participants ‘hands on’ skills in the operation of a gaming area.  It includes legislations and security aspects.

Hospitality First Responder Training

Assists staff to appropriately manage a 'first response' to a medical emergency. The Office of the Liquor and Gambling Commissioner is among the partners involved in the initiative.
