The Office of Crime Statistics and Research (OCSAR) is responsible for research and monitoring of crime trends and the criminal justice system within South Australia.
Statistics
OCSAR receives regular downloads of unit record data from the key criminal justice agencies in South Australia, and uses these to produce a range of statistical reports encompassing all aspects of the criminal justice process. Its main statistical publication is a three volume "Crime and Justice in South Australia" report, published annually.

Crime Mapper
Crime Mapper is an interactive application that shows the geographic distribution of recorded criminal offences for South Australia on a map.
The tool allows the easy selection of the type of criminal offences to map, how to measure those offences and the time period of interest.
