Estate and Trust Administration

Public Trustee undertakes a range of estate and trust administration functions.

Personal Estate Administration

Public Trustee provides high quality financial administration services to clients who require assistance with the management of their financial affairs.

Public Trustee assumes special responsibilities for people who are unable to handle their own financial or legal affairs due to accident, age, illness or disability.

Estate Services

Administering deceased estates is a highly specialised activity requiring a comprehensive knowledge of the legal and financial issues involved.

Trusts

A trust secures certain assets so that children, other dependents, named beneficiaries or organisations can benefit from them in the future (for instance, part of an estate may be held in trust until a specified time to pay for a child's education, or a charitable trust may be set up to support a specific cause).

Public Trustee currently acts as trustee for over 8 000 individual trusts created from a number of sources.
