Consumer advice coming to Moonta - learn about your rights

South Australia’s Consumer and Business Services (CBS) will be travelling to the Yorke Peninsula to talk about scams and door-to-door sales with the ‘Sharing a Lunch Together’ women’s group on Tuesday 4 September.

“While door-to-door trading can be a legitimate way to do business, we’ve found that some traders use high pressure or unfair sales tactics to coax people into buying goods or services that they don’t need, or that are substandard,” said Acting Commissioner for Consumer Affairs Anne Gale.
