Independent review of SACAT

The South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (SACAT) was reviewed by retired Supreme Court Justice, the Hon David Bleby QC, to assess whether its performance and services have met expectations and to suggest improvements.

The review included significant consultation, asking people to share their experience of the tribunal.

Drawing on the analysis and feedback, the review contains 51 recommendations on how to improve SACAT’s future operations across a range of areas.

Significant work with SACAT is underway on the planning and implementation of many of the recommendations.

The government response to the review provides a schedule of the recommendations and current status of each recommendation.
