Your rights

As a citizen in South Australia, your rights are protected by a range of laws. These laws outline the things you are allowed to do, the freedoms you possess and how you are entitled to be treated by others. For example, employees have rights to certain levels of pay and safety at work. The Attorney-General’s Department provides advice and support for South Australians in relation to many of their rights, such as consumer rights, discrimination rights and rights to safety at work.
