Certificates can be ordered to mark important dates and events in people's lives and can be used:
- to prove a person’s identity
- for researching family history.
You can access births, deaths and marriages information, register a life event or order certificates on SA.GOV.AU
To arrange an exhumation you must apply for a licence from the Attorney-General.
