A senior lawyer with experience in both the Crown Solicitor's Office and the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions has been appointed as interim Equal Opportunity Commissioner, while the Government considers its options for a longer-term appointment.
Steph Halliday will begin in the role on March 1, taking over from the current Acting Commissioner Emily Strickland.
